Edward Cable and Victor Romero will be attending the 2026 Regional DPI Forum, which will take place on September 29–30 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, alongside the 9th Ministerial Meeting on Digital Government of the Americas and the 20th Meeting of the GEALC Network.
The Dominican Republic will host this two-day forum, bringing together governments, civil society, academia, the private sector, and international organizations to advance the conversation on Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) across the region.
September 29 — Regional DPI Day
A multi-stakeholder forum focused on DPI governance, safeguards, and use cases, featuring participation from 50-in-5, the Digital Public Goods Alliance (DPGA), the Inter-American
Development Bank (IDB), the Organization of American States (OAS), the Centre for Digital Public Infrastructure (CDPI), the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), and other leading partners.
September 30 — National DPI Day
A day dedicated to the host country’s progress, including the launch of its Digital Citizen Folder and other key milestones in the Dominican Republic’s DPI agenda, alongside working sessions
of the GEALC Network. The event is organized by the Ministry of Public Administration (MAP), with the support of Co-Develop, the IDB, the OAS, and CDPI.
The Forum will be held at the JW Marriott Hotel Santo Domingo, with the full agenda and registration details to be shared in the coming days.
