Mifos on mobile devices

Nowadays, the number of users with mobile devices, is rapidly growing up so we created a special mobile options to allow you to open Mifos and use its basic functionalities. You have two options to choose:

  • Open Mifos on mobile browser (Switch site type option)
  • Mifos Android Client

 

Switch site type

User may open Mifos web site on mobile device. To make it more easy, switch site type option was prepared. It enable to render web site based on device type. User may change site type temporarily or permanently with follow options available:

AUTO - dynamically selects which pages to render based on device type (i.e. smartphone, feature phone, PC, etc)

MOBILE – force mobile options and display web site in smaller size regardless of kind of device

NORMAL – force normal size of displayed web size regardless of kind of device

Default web pages are dynamically render based on device type if user set option AUTO in Your settings link. Then if the device is a mobile device  (i.e. smartphone, feature phone, etc.), website is automatically set as MOBILE otherwise page is displayed as NORMAL. There is possibility to set different site type permanently (in Your settings) or clicking 'Switch site type' (this option does not cause permanent changes and after next launch system website is render as it was set in Your settings).

Current list of mobile-optimized pages

Actually user has ability to use mobile options only on following websites. In future it will be updated, so more pages will provide it:

  • Home page
  • selected date option
  • Borrowers&Accounts page
  • client and accounts pages
  • view center details
  • view group details
  • view client details
  • view account details
  • search results

 

Mifos Android Client

The second mobile option is Mifos Android Client, which allows you to view the most important information about the customers and accounts and to perform the basic financial operations. You can download Mifos Android Client from Google Play here.
