MFI: Grameen Koota

Grameen Koota is an MFI based in Bangalore, India, serving over 140,000 clients.  Working with MFTech, Grameen Koota played a pioneering role as the first Mifos deployment.  Over the past two years, Grameen Koota has helped the Mifos team to define and refine functionality and to test the Mifos product. They have played a fundamental role in shaping the Mifos product that we see today.  In October 2007, with the assistance of IBM, Grameen Koota completed its rollout of Mifos across all 44 branches and is now fully running Mifos in production.
