v1.1 Development Process
We are using an Agile Development Process to build the Mifos software as it allows us to maximize community input and involvement and to build new features in a smooth and efficient manner.
Although you can access current builds at any time, we aim to release frequent releases of stable versions of the software that we recommend running in production.
The following is the process we are going through to build and test v1.1, and the tentative dates for each milestone. These dates are subject to change at any time, and we will be updating this page to reflect any changes that might arise throughout the process.
| Patch Freeze |
Feb 1 2008 |
| Last day for the community to submit new feature patches for inclusion in v1.1. | |
| Feature Freeze |
Feb 15 2008 |

| Project Code Freeze |
Mar 15 2008 |
| After this date, only bugs deemed vital for the release by QA are fixed by developers. Otherwise no code check-ins are allowed. | |
