User Meetup - Join Us Thursday May 24
Thanks again to those who attended our last User Meetup on May 10. Thomas from Vastech Uganda shared his experiences supporting Mifos users and Keith Woodlock gave a thorough demo of individual lending functionalities in Mifos X. The demo stirred up some good questions and initial feedback on Mifos X is very promising. Notes from the meeting have been added to the wiki. As usual, our next commmunity-wide user meet-up is this Thursday May 24 at 3:30pm GMT and would like to get as many users to attend once again. Here's an invite you can add to your calendar.
We want these meetings to be a time to share these common challenges and build bonds as we all take on technology together. These meetings occur every 2 weeks and are a forum for you to connect with other users and implementers of Mifos to get help with issues you're facing and share feedback about the product.

Mifos Android Client - A Closer Look
Head over to the community blog for a write-up and overview of the Android Client that Lukasz will be demonstrating during Thursday's meeting. Built to work on top of Android smartphones, the Mifos Android client is freely available for download from the Google Play store. This mobile client gives you instant access to your data wherever you have a mobile connection - loan officers can stay connected while in the field by managing clients and applying transactions directly from their phone. We're looking for feedback to improve the Android app so let us know what you'd like to see.
